چکیده

Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) commonly known as gram or Bengal belongs to the family Leguminaceae (Fabaceae). It's one of most important rabi season pulse crops grown in India for economic importance and improve soil fertility. The productivity chickpea is low despite having high-yielding varieties new agronomic practices. One causes poor infestation weeds field chickpea. It a competitor because its slow growth rate limited leaf area development at early stages. To overcome this, experiment was conducted during seasons 2021-22 Agronomy Research Farm Acharya Narendra Deva University Agriculture Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya (UP). Replicated thrice set eleven treatments (T1) Pendimethalin 30 EC @ 1.0 kg a.i./ha PE,(T2) Imazethapyr 10% SL 0.06 PoE,(T3) Clodinafop propargyl 15 WP PoE, (T4) Propaquizafop 10 0.075 PoE,(T5) Quizalfop ethyl 5 40 g (T6) PE followed by (Fb) (T7) fb (T8) (T9) pE (T10) Weed free (T11) Weedy check, laid out randomized block design. management done per treatment. Other crop practices were recommendation area. @1.0 PoE recorded significantly less weed density, dry matter, higher control efficiency, yield attributes (number pods/plant, number seeds/pod test weight), (grain yield, stover biological harvest yield). Economically it gross returns, net return, B:C ratio noted proved be more remunerative compared other herbicide applications used crop.

Effect of Genotype X Environment Interaction on Relationship between Grain Yield and Its Components in Chickpea [cicer Arietinum (l.)]

Effect of genotype x environment interaction was studied on relationship between yield and three yield components in 20 genotypes of chickpea. Significant differences were found between genotypes for the three yield components at all the locations. It was found that the pattern and strength of correlation between number of seeds pod and yield, between number of seeds pod and number of pods plan...

Effect of plant growth-promoting Streptomyces sp. on growth promotion and grain yield in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L)

The physiological and molecular responses of six strains of Streptomyces sp. (CAI-13, CAI-85, CAI-93, CAI-140, CAI-155 and KAI-180), with their proven potential for plant growth-promotion (PGP) in rice were studied to understand the mechanisms causing the beneficial effects. In this investigation, those six strains were evaluated for their PGP capabilities in chickpea in the 2012-13 and 2013-14...
